So I called the next morning to let the manager know about the horrible service. He told me that it should not have happened and he was going to have a talk with the night crew. He also asked me for my address because now I am going to be getting 2 value meals and a potato for free. It's all about the potato....YUMMMM!

I am confused. I thought that fast food places made drive thru's for people's conveniences. This was not the case at the Wendy's at Neenah.

We would have been much better off going in. We should have gotten the hint when it wasn't even plowed yet--this was 7:00 at night--about 24 hours after the snowstorm--plenty of time for a business to get this done! We ordered our food and they took our money. We then noticed that there were two cars parked ahead of us waiting for their orders... Not a good sign. I also saw two employees joking around in the store--excuse me, but if there are so many people waiting, shouldn't you be working??? We ended up having to pull ahead even though there wasn't anyone behind us and we sat and sat. Rhiannon started to cry and just wouldn't stop. This went on for literally 20 f-ing minutes and finally the car that was ahead of us was given their food. We called to the employee and asked about ours and he said it would just be a second...

5 minutes later I went into the store and picked up the food that was just being bagged.

I'm calling the store and talking to a manager tomorrow! Wow.

Just wondering when the year of broken is going to be over. My dryer decided to break today and I have to call someone tomarrow. Its making a horrible grinding sound and there are tiny metal shavings in the lint trap. Not good! (On the positive side, our house did not burn down...)

I don't know if I should laugh at this point. I received a postcard in the mail yesterday for a job. Toys-r-us wants me to come back for the X-Mas season again this year because I did such a good job last year. I take it as a compliment and we do need the money, but I can't work right now, and after the baby's born, I need to find a job that will pay a lot more than TRS. At least I know one place would hire me and I would get a 10% discount...lol :)

I haven't posted in a while since Sgt-D's compy crashed. I was logged off and didn't have the patience to figure out/make a new password. I know, lame excuse.

We have started the house hunt in earnest finally. We saw one that we both liked a lot, but by the next day an offer was made on it and we really are not in a position to make an offer on a house yet. Ours isn't even up for sale yet. Our realtor did come by and looked ours over and is going to be giving us a little booklet that will give us an idea of what our duplex will go for, probably on Tuesday, and then we will have it on the market--yea!

We have started to pack. This is to help "de-clutter" the house and give it a bigger feel for when people go though it. Also, the sooner that things get packed, the better. I don't know how much longer I will be able to help.

As some of you know, my doc was concerned early on that I may have preaclampsia (sp). This was confirmed this past Thursday. I am now going to a specialist once a week to check my blood pressure and other tests--aka my weekly pricks. I have not been sent to bed, but I have been told to take it easy as much as I can.

Finally, for those who need/want to know Sgt-d and I have finally registered at Shop-ko and Target.

Okay, I think I need to go to bed now so I don't sleep until noon again...

sgt-d's compy crashed today. No work, no ggod, no fun. We think that it is the motherboard, so we will probably get a new one and more memory instead of a new compy. It might save us $600--I hope.

This has been the second day now in a row that a bird has divebombed my window--and flew away. I don't know what it is trying to prove by doing this--"I want more birdseed--we're out" or what. It's not like I keep the windows completely clean where they think that they're not there are something--there is dog goober on them and everything--I just don't get it. It might even be the same bird which might explain it (brain damage) or the bird should know better by now. Or, it is just a bird and I should stop reading so much into it... Dan's laughing at me now--I'm done :)

Found out today that I am spilling proteins. That means that I have 2/3 of the symptoms of preeclampsia (sp). Great. They just want to monitor the situation for now, so I have to take the test again (fun) and see how it goes.

Today is ending up to be a really bad day, and it's only noon... I had a DR. visit--ended up that I have a hernia. Great. I was in the car to tell Dan since he was at work, but instead of getting him, I get an answering service telling me that my service has been disconected and they want the last 4 #'s of the social of the person who's account this is. I put in mine and the machine puts me on hold for 4 minutes. (still sitting in the car at the Dr.'s office, mind you) I finally talk to a real person and all they can tell me is that they can't talk to me because my mane is not on the account. Excuse me, I am married to the person who is on the account. There are two phones, one for me and one for him--he can't use both at the same time, stupid! When we pay the bills, the check has both of our names on the top and MY signature on the bottom and THEY DO NOT question that.

I was only calling to tell them that the check with my signature, as usual, was sent out on the 6th. I had called that day and their systems were down that day and the automatic system told me to call back later--later when I am disconnected, thank you very much!

I think that I need a new phone company...

Description--Black collared, long-sleeved shirt, three button-type holes on both sides at the top only. Tag seems to have been cut off--I think that's a federal offense...

To CLAIM--Runaway shirt will be dragged to the coffee house tomorrow where it will either be reunited with its rightful owner or escape my cruel clutches and hide out with some unsuspecting victim.

I understand that there was a full moon last night, but that does not give you, MR. Internet, the right to go haywire on me. First UW Oshkosh goes down yesterday so I could not get my E-mail and get my sister's address for the b-day party and I ended up an hour and a half late... Now POGO is down. If there is any other sites that are going to go down this weekend, please let me know now so I don't get my hopes up or so I can plan ahead. That would be very nice of you, Mr. Internet...

Dan and I were coming home last night from my nephew's birthday's party (it was a lot of fun--he turned 2, but the gross thing was that I saw a dead deer. That is gross by itself, but what makes it worse is that someone cut off its head and left the body right next to someone's yard. What is wrong with some people! I give this one a great big "Mr. Yuck" sticker.

I got back from PSG hoping to have a job. Of course it wasn't (and isn't) that easy. I haven't gotten a response from the childcare center. I don't think that that job would be very good right now because of my feet, but it was a possibility... :) Humana never really gave me a reason why I did not get the job. They just said that they are looking at other applicants. Now that Paul has been fired, I wonder if it has something to do with having him as a refrence and they were looking to can him for a while....Maybe I'm just looking too much into things, or maybe not.

Today I have an interview w/APAC and Monday I have another interview with United Health. :) Later.

I just got back from Wal-Mart (I had to get some jars for candle making)and the person at the checkout had nothing to wrap them in!I had over three bags of candles and putting them in a plasic bag just doesn't do the trick. It didn't help that I couldn't understand a word that the cashier said--it was complete mumbles. I had no idea of what he was saying so I just responded with yep a lot. Note to self--use self check-out from now on...

I have been up now since 2:30 in the morning. It is too hot to sleep and I don't know how Dan is doing it. I have never had a problem before sleeping in the heat, but now it is bothering me. I need a "Mr. Yuck" sticker to put onto the heat, but I don't think that it would work. I'm thinking about taking a shower now to try and cool off and get some things done around the house before it gets worse. Then I can sit with my feet up and drink ice water--that's the ticket :)

So I went to the doctor today because my feet were swollen (inchadas). It probably wasn't from the T.V. dinners, but I'm still going to cut them out completely from my diet. I was prescribed some super sexy socks to wear when I have the need. They are fashionably white and they go all the way up to my knees. This is going to be great at PSG. I think that they have to be decorated either before or at PSG with some awesome markers....
